Botanical Art
One of the most demanding and precise areas of art is Botanical. If done successfully, a viewer should be able to not only identify the plant, but also even possibly the variety.
For me, painting plants enables me to have an ever-changing subject that requires intensive effort to properly depict.
I work in either watercolor or traditional gouache for botanical art, so here is a range of subjects in either medium from across my body of botanical work.
